Oddin is summoning a Viking or Valkyria to join the raid as a BI Analyst to transform data into actionable insights. You will be the bridge between our data team and business stakeholders, ensuring our BI solutions align with strategic goals and deliver maximum value.

What you will conquer:

Data Analysis:
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
Reporting & Visualization:
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Grafana, ensuring stakeholders have access to real-time data insights.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
Data Modeling:
Utilize CubeDev (semantic layer) and dbt to create and maintain robust data models that support analytical needs.
Technology Utilization:
Leverage technologies such as Dagster for data orchestration and AWS Athena for data querying to enhance data processing capabilities.
New Trends:
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in BI and data engineering.

The skills and wisdom you bring:

Experience:
2+ years of experience as a BI Analyst or similar role in data analytics.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Grafana, CubeDev, dbt), SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
Analytical Mindset:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Agile Methodologies:
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to manage product development.
AWS Experience:
Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Athena, for data querying and analysis.
Desirable:
Interest in esports and betting is a plus.
