Software Development Engineer
This role significantly impacts patient outcomes by ensuring timely and accurate information exchange between EMS and hospital systems. Enhanced coordination between EMS and hospitals leads to better-prepared healthcare providers, resulting in more effective and efficient patient care. As a member of our Product Engineering team, you'll report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with a passionate team.
What You'll Be Doing
We are an Agile development shop and interact regularly with project stakeholders, including demos from each sprint. As part of the development process, you will be involved in design sessions, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn and teach through peer review of code and completed solutions.

Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering and software design and architecture principles.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Experience programming in C# .NET, or another similar language such as Java.
- CI, unit testing and mocking frameworks (e.g. NUnit / Moq / NSubstitute).
- Familiarity with databases, schemas and SQL.
- A demonstrated ability to help drive the technical direction of features through analysis of requirements and peer discussions.
- An ability to collaborate with peers across different functional areas of the business.
- A clear communicator. Effective verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring that messages are delivered clearly and comprehensibly to various stakeholders.
- Customer centric. Continuously seeks innovative ways to enhance the customer experience through technology and software design.
