We’re looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with JavaScript/React skills to take the MapTiler products to the next level! Join the MapTiler team and play a key role in enhancing user experience and shaping the future of online maps.
You can work from anywhere in Czechia or join us in our newly renovated modern office in the center of Brno.
How we work
We work in 2-week sprints.
We plan development in Jira, as well as individual tasks.
Our applications run in Docker containers, we version Ansible playbooks in Git and keep documentation in Confluence.
Google Workspace is used for electronic communication (Chat, Meet, Email).
The company's structure is based on the unFIX model, which helps innovation and agile development.
What you will do
Develop, maintain, and optimize new features in the Cloud frontend.
Contribute to the development of the MapTiler Server product.
Work on the new visual georeferencer.
Connect the frontend with the backend.
Collaborate closely with Designers and fellow team members.
Conduct reviews for other team members.
What we expect from you
A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Frontend Developer.
Extensive experience with JavaScript and React.
Attention to detail, consistency, and strong organizational skills.
A team player who collaborates to achieve common goals.
A strong drive for self-improvement, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
Nice to have
Interest in maps.
Knowledge of the map industry.
Any experience with online maps (mapbox-gl-js, leaflet, WebGL, etc.)
Experience with Agile methodology.
