At SpaceKnow, we transparently monitor global changes and estimate development trends using satellite data analysis. We develop and deliver our own platform that can analyze the world's largest collections of satellite images using proprietary artificial intelligence algorithms. Our vision is to index the physical world and provide users with near real-time data and analyses to support their informed decision-making.
Join our team of Python developers and play a key role in building robust systems that analyze petabytes of satellite images. As a backend developer, you will work with our team to create innovative solutions that process vast amounts of data and provide users with valuable insights, analyses, and findings. What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and deploy key backend systems that form the core of the SpaceKnow platform.
- Work with technologies such as Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and more.
- Monitor, optimize, and ensure the scalability and stability of our platform.
- Follow a test-driven development approach, focusing on code reviews and a continuous development ecosystem.
- Contribute to the development of an innovative satellite image analysis system that transforms how we perceive the world.
- Work in a startup environment where there’s always room for exploring new possibilities and taking an innovative approach.
Required Skills:
- A positive attitude and a willingness to continuously learn and grow.
- Experience in development using one or more programming languages.
- Knowledge of cloud service providers.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
Nice to Have:
- Excellent proficiency in Python development.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience with geospatial and image data, algorithms, and databases.
